Dionysus was originally a male Greek God of wine and pleasure. I decided to redefine the meaning of Dionysus as a "Goddess" instead of a "God" I named her Dionysus II as an ode to the original God.
Because she is a woman, she brings pleasure and joy. The purple color scheme represents wine. She is from mother nature and brings from nature pleasure to all mankind. I incorporate 3 dimensional elements to my artwork as part of my signature style.
Dionysus II has been on exhibit at the Silver Room in Chicago to the delight and awe of many viewers. She will make a great statement piece in your home!
